Never Undermine Our Children Mind

Over the last 3 years, my wife and I have been involved deeply in the what-so-called psycho-energy, hypnotherapy, behaviour assessment and early child education. We have had various training and knowledge as well as theories on the sub-conscious mind matters, absorbent mind and how our mind works.

Over the last 3 years, my wife and I have been dealing with various cases and people related to their mind problems and have been successfully “healed” most of these adults as well as the kids mind problems. But still we were stroked when this powerful subconscious mind and the absorbent mind theory are really working to our own children.

It was happened last night when we were having our dinner. I bought the famous “Roti Boy” for our daughters. Right after we finished the last bite of the “Roti Boy”, my youngest-7- years-old daughter suddenly said, “Pa this bread is not supposed to be wrapped by this paper, it cause the “Global Warming”. I was shocked and try to respond in panic by saying “do not worry, this is not made of stereo-form or plastic, so it will be easily dissolved in the soil”, but then she replied even stronger than I thought it would be.

She said, “Pa my Teachers always said that even the paper can be easily dissolved, but it was made from the peal of the timber, and once you cut the timber it will ruin the system and causing the global warming.... so this is not right”.

We were really amazed .... my little angel was lecturing us with confident on the global warming issues. Then I remembered that over the last couple of months, her school was having a focus topic on global warming, the students from the Grade 1 through Grade 12 were having this issue in their daily activities, and this issue has been “inserted” in each of their subject. In other word, our daughter has been told several times constantly on the global warming issues and its impact to her life.

And as what we learned in the hypnotherapy training and early child education courses, that when we focus on something, and whilst we are told again and again about the same thing, the suggestions or statements will be kept in our subconscious mind and become our believe and value, and it can be triggered out anytime spontaneously. And we also remembered from our trainings that the children between 0 to 6 or 7 years old are in their absorbent mind period. This is the golden period where they can easily and automatically absorb what ever they get from their environment and kept them in their subconscious mind. And we were told also that our subconscious mind is having about 80 to90 percent of our mind power, which allows an automatic and effortless process of transforming the experiences or suggestions into a permanent believe, value or behaviour.

What happened last night during the dinner time was proving the above theory, and it gave us a gentle reminder for not undermining our young children capacity to understand and absorb the issues and what is happening around them. So ..... never undermine our children mind and watch our statements, language and behaviour carefully when we are around them ........ All of that will be kept in their subconscious mind and waiting for any triggers to allow them to retrieve the memory.

Over the last 3 years, my wife and I have been told not to undermine our children mind ....... and over the last 3 years my wife and I keep forgetting this. Hope that what happened last night will keep us alert on this matters. Print this page...
