Dr Maria Montessori was the founder of the Montessori method of Education. She was born in the Italian town of Chiaravalle in 1870, where she spent her early childhood years. She moved to Rome at age three and grew up in an environment dominated by academic achevement. She studied mathematics and engineering at a technical school and went to the Universityof Rome where she became the first woman doctor in her country's history.
Montessori launched her medical career at the State Orthophrenic School in Rome where she worked with rejected children. Her success in helping them learn as wellas their regular-school peers convinced herto leave her medical profession and focus on education. To learn the functions of humanthought, she returned to her university to study philosophy and anthropology and later headed the department of Pedagogic Anthropology. She was one of the most influential pioneers in early childhood education. She devise a method of education, which combines a philosophy with practical approach based on the central idea of feedom for the child within a carefully planned and structured environment.
The great pioneering achievement of Dr Maria Montessori was to recognise the crucial importance of a child in their first six years of development. It is during this time that a child powers of absorption are highest and lifelong attitudes and patters of learning are firmly formed. It is for the sensitive period that the Montessori system of education was most uniquely and effectively designed.
Her succes was so great that she travelled the world establishing schools and lecturing about her discoveries. Dr. Montessori's books have been translated into twenty-two languages and are readily available. Her method has become a part of every teacher-training course.
Dr. Maria Montessori left the world a wonderful legacy: a philosophy of life, a unique method of education, which gives children the best possible foundation for life.
Montessori died in Holland in 1952, just before her 82nd birthday. Herwork lives on today in education systems around the world. Besides new books, lectures, and theacher-training programmes, societies and scholls are still springing up under her name in the United States, in Europe, and in Asia.

Another amazing comments from my little angel which strike us as an adult on how beautiful and simple the kid's world is...... Yesterday she was asking her Mom "what would your preference, being an adult or a kid?" ...... Her Mom was thinking for a moment an answer "of course I prefer to be a kid, because I do not have to decide anything, and I do not have to think too much", then my daughter replied.... "yeee I also like to be a kid, because I can play and go to SCHOOOOOL !!!!!". We were looking to each other, realising that she is simply love to go to school and happy for being a kid, while we were thinking too far by saying (in essence)that ..... being an adult is difficult and unpleasent, since we have to take care and think about every single thing.
I miss for being a kid ............ Print this page...

Over the last 3 years, my wife and I have been involved deeply in the what-so-called psycho-energy, hypnotherapy, behaviour assessment and early child education. We have had various training and knowledge as well as theories on the sub-conscious mind matters, absorbent mind and how our mind works.
Over the last 3 years, my wife and I have been dealing with various cases and people related to their mind problems and have been successfully “healed” most of these adults as well as the kids mind problems. But still we were stroked when this powerful subconscious mind and the absorbent mind theory are really working to our own children.
It was happened last night when we were having our dinner. I bought the famous “Roti Boy” for our daughters. Right after we finished the last bite of the “Roti Boy”, my youngest-7- years-old daughter suddenly said, “Pa this bread is not supposed to be wrapped by this paper, it cause the “Global Warming”. I was shocked and try to respond in panic by saying “do not worry, this is not made of stereo-form or plastic, so it will be easily dissolved in the soil”, but then she replied even stronger than I thought it would be.
She said, “Pa my Teachers always said that even the paper can be easily dissolved, but it was made from the peal of the timber, and once you cut the timber it will ruin the system and causing the global warming.... so this is not right”.
We were really amazed .... my little angel was lecturing us with confident on the global warming issues. Then I remembered that over the last couple of months, her school was having a focus topic on global warming, the students from the Grade 1 through Grade 12 were having this issue in their daily activities, and this issue has been “inserted” in each of their subject. In other word, our daughter has been told several times constantly on the global warming issues and its impact to her life.
And as what we learned in the hypnotherapy training and early child education courses, that when we focus on something, and whilst we are told again and again about the same thing, the suggestions or statements will be kept in our subconscious mind and become our believe and value, and it can be triggered out anytime spontaneously. And we also remembered from our trainings that the children between 0 to 6 or 7 years old are in their absorbent mind period. This is the golden period where they can easily and automatically absorb what ever they get from their environment and kept them in their subconscious mind. And we were told also that our subconscious mind is having about 80 to90 percent of our mind power, which allows an automatic and effortless process of transforming the experiences or suggestions into a permanent believe, value or behaviour.
What happened last night during the dinner time was proving the above theory, and it gave us a gentle reminder for not undermining our young children capacity to understand and absorb the issues and what is happening around them. So ..... never undermine our children mind and watch our statements, language and behaviour carefully when we are around them ........ All of that will be kept in their subconscious mind and waiting for any triggers to allow them to retrieve the memory.
Over the last 3 years, my wife and I have been told not to undermine our children mind ....... and over the last 3 years my wife and I keep forgetting this. Hope that what happened last night will keep us alert on this matters. Print this page...

Aduh.... Teman-teman,
Berarti semuanya ok-ok saja tuh. Kecuali kondisi badannya yang tiba-tiba begitu. Aku enggak tahu kenapa????
Mudah-mudahan memberikan manfaat.
Salam,

Hai teman-teman,
Tadi malam, seperti hari-hari sebelumnya, kami sekeluarga seperti biasa melakukan makan malam bersama.
" Aduh..... aku langsung terdiam.
